Questions academy owners ask

Everything you want to know before moving your academy onto the platform.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — new academies start with a 14-day free trial, and no credit card is required. You get the full platform to set up your academy, invite your team, and run real lessons. Just message us to begin, and we'll help you get started.

Is Academies Hub only for Quran academies?

No. It's built for Quran and Hifz academies first, but everything except the memorization tools works for any online tutoring or education academy — languages, test prep, private lessons, and more. Hifz tracking is opt-in per course, so you simply leave it off when you don't need it.

What languages does the platform support?

The platform and your public website ship in Arabic, English, and German. Certificates are issued in each student's own language, and the public site is built to be fast and SEO-friendly in every language.

How do students pay if we don't use a card processor?

Academies Hub is built for offline payments. Students upload a receipt for a bank transfer, InstaPay, mobile wallet, or Fawry payment, and an admin approves it. Credits are then added to the student's balance with a full transaction ledger — no card processor required.

Do you provide the public website, or do we bring our own?

Both options exist. New academies get a branded public website with courses, pricing, blogs, books, and testimonials included. If you already have a website, choose a 'system only' plan that connects to it, or take the website on its own.

How is each academy's data kept separate?

Every academy gets its own securely isolated workspace. Owners, admins, editors, teachers, students, and parents each see only what their role allows, and a full audit history records changes inside your academy.

Can parents follow their children's progress?

Yes. Parents get a dedicated read-only account that can be linked to several children in the same academy. They see each child's schedule, lesson reports, homework and feedback, memorization and attendance, and completion certificates — and get notified when something new is published.

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on your academy's size, number of students, and the features you enable, with monthly and annual billing (annual gives two months free). Starter, Professional, and Enterprise tiers are available, plus system-only and website-only options. Contact us for a plan tailored to your academy.

How do we get started?

Reach out and we'll create your academy's workspace, help you invite your team, and get your public site and first courses live. From there you enroll students and schedule lessons around real teacher availability, while the platform handles reminders, credits, payroll, and analytics automatically.

Can we run both one-to-one and group classes?

Yes. Every course can be taught one-to-one or as a group, with automatic Google Meet links, recurring schedules (daily, weekdays, weekly, or monthly), and a visual board that catches conflicts before they happen.

Does scheduling handle students in different time zones?

Yes. Availability and lessons are time-zone aware, including lessons that cross midnight, and you can configure weekend days and booking rules per academy — so cross-border scheduling stops causing missed lessons.

How do teachers join the academy?

You invite admins, editors, and teachers by email with the right role, and each teacher sets their own weekly availability with exceptions. On higher plans, teachers can also apply to join and be reviewed before they're added.

What happens when a student finishes a course?

When a course cycle is completed, every student automatically earns a verifiable completion certificate in their own language, carrying your academy's branding, a QR verification page, and a download as an image or print-ready PDF.

Can students learn between live lessons?

Yes. Each course can hold sections with PDF, video, and document materials, per-lecture assignments with attachments, and student submissions that teachers grade with feedback and ratings — all in one place.

How do you keep online exams fair?

Exams run in a distraction-free full-screen mode with a server-authoritative countdown that auto-submits when time runs out. The platform blocks copy/paste, flags tab-switching and fullscreen exits, and logs every violation for teachers to review — and reloading or disconnecting resumes the same attempt with the same remaining time.

Is the academy's content and branding ours?

Yes. Your public website, certificates, and portal carry your academy's name, logo, colors, and social links. On the Enterprise plan you can also add a custom domain and a website designed for you by a professional UI/UX designer.

Can we move our existing students and content onto the platform?

Yes. During onboarding we help you set up your academy, invite your team, and get your courses, pricing, and content live. Reach out and we'll walk you through bringing your current students and materials across.
